Monica Corral is the new Office Manager at Zen Animal Wellness. She started with us in September of 2016 and has quickly become an invaluable member of our family.  You will speak with Monica if you call our office to schedule an appointment or refill a prescription or ask a question.  She can handle all of your needs and pass along any messages to Dr Heather. Monica lives in Taos with her husband, three children, four dogs and three cats.

Dr Heather attended college at the University of Tennessee where she received a B.S. in cheimical Enginerring as well as her Doctor of Veterinary medicine degree.  She did an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Texas A&M University.  After her internsip, she worked in private veterinary practice and the veterinary pharmacutical industry in Texas and Florida.  She studies Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine at the Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine in Reddick, Florida, where she continues to perfect her skills in Acupuncture, Herbal Therapy, Food Therapy and Tui Na. Her special interests in addition to TCVM include Geriatric medicine, feline medicine and integrated wellness.  She loves living in the southwest with her husband, four dogs and two cats.  In her free time she injoys skiing, golfing, hiking and running.
